I have to say I felt like a bit of a twat having to write these but here goes…<span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Press Release: <br/></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Natural Wonder is a series of work undertaken to explore fine art photography. The collection sees the female figure in its natural state with no additional make up and minimal post-production. This was a crucial element to the images as they were taken with the intention to accentuate the human body in its natural state. The work was specifically undertaken with little interference so as to keep the idea of natural beauty at the forefront. The series was developed with neutral backdrops to highlight the subject and by using natural light it gave some beautiful tones complimenting the skin of the model.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Artist Statement:<br/></span></p> <p><span></span><span>Currently my practice is concentrated on showing the human body in its purest form. The idea is to compliment nature of the body with the nature of the light. Instead of using studio lights, reflectors and a makeup artist to ‘create’ beauty I wanted to show the reality.
